March 7 is Advocacy Day, and we really need your voice! The Governor has proposed large cuts in the Working Connections Child Care Program which would eliminate 4000 families from the program. We are also working on ECEAP funding, a Universal Pre-K bill (here's a FAQ), and a bill that would expand 1-year eligibility to all families in Working Connections.

Because the legislature pushed up the schedule, this will be very near the end of the session. We encourage folks to also consider visiting Olympia earlier in the session with other early learning Advocates:

February 9 - Have a Heart for Kids Day - Lots of Head Start and ECEAP parents attend this Children's Alliance Event!

February 20 - Parents United Advocacy Day - Headed up by former Parent Ambassadors Kylee Allen and April Ritter Terry
