How you can help advocate for children and families

WSA provides a strong voice in Washington, DC and Olympia as our legislators make decisions that affect low-income children and families.

Our voice is made stronger by the continuing involvement of hundreds of Head Start and ECEAP parents and graduates. We rely on the efforts of individuals across the state make our programs strong and continue to ensure that our elected officials hear from those who are most affected by their decisions.

2008 WSA ADVOCACY DAY - Help us advocate for ECEAP and Head Start Children and Families in Olympia!

Advocacy Day will be Thursday, February 21st!

Advocacy Day is a great opportunity for parents and staff to help us change government for the better and help ECEAP and Head Start children and families.  With our Washington Head Start proposal under consideration in Olympia, we need your voices to get our message heard!

  • You can tell the law makers what HS/ECEAP means to you and your family.
  • You have the right for your opinion to be heard.
  • You will have the chance to meet and talk with other parents and family members who care about early childhood education too.
  • You will learn new ways to have your voice be heard.
